Itinerary
Arrival at Bagdogra Airport: You will be greeted and transferred to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. Leisure Evening: Explore and enjoy the peaceful town after check-in.
Phuentsholing to Thimphu (Enroute Sightseeing) After breakfast and permit processing, drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. En route, visit Kharbandi Gumpa, enjoy mountain views at Gedu (9000 ft), and take photos at Wankha Waterfalls. Arrive in Thimphu, check-in, and relax. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Thimphu Local Sightseeing Visit Zorig Chusum School, National Library, Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point, Takin Reserve Center, and Tashichodzong. Enjoy free time in the evening to explore Thimphu.
After breakfast, drive to the scenic Paro Valley, stopping at Chuzom, Iron Bridge, and Tachogang. Visit the National Museum, Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, and enjoy views of the Paro River and Tiger’s Nest. Check in and relax in Paro for the night.
After breakfast, drive back to Phuentsholing. Enjoy the evening exploring or shopping, and spend the night there.
